Itsy Bitsy Spider

Every night after Noah’s bath we play and then brush our teeth and then play some more before Noah and I go into his room to read books. After the books, I turn out the lights and he lays on me and we sing songs while he drinks his milk and finishes winding down. The other night while I was singing “You are My Sunshine” he put his milk down and pointed his two index fingers together. I was a little baffled, but I started to sing “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” and he proceeded to DO THE WHOLE SONG ON HIS FINGERS!!! My jaw hit the floor! Gosh, he is such a smart little boy!!!

Since I work in the mornings we have a Nanny come over and take care of Noah. She is AMAZING! Alejandra and Noah just love each other and she only speaks to him in Spanish. She said he completely understands everything she says to him and they learn and play the whole time. I really can’t say enough great things about her. She really is a blessing in our lives. Well, it turns out they practiced the Itsy Bitsy Spider that day and Noah was remembering it and practicing it that night. Now they are working on colors, shapes and animals. Hunter and I joke that he is actually going to be more fluent in Spanish than English.
