When Noah was around 6 months I bought a book of Baby Sign Language that sat in my room until he was about a year old. Since then, we have been practicing with words and signs and he is getting pretty good at it, if I say so myself! :-) Here are some words he knows (most are actual sign language, but some he actually made up himself).
*More
*Eat
*Drink
*Brush Teeth
*Outside (this one he made up. He gets really excited going outside and freaks out and waves his arm up and down, which ended up meaning outside).
*Cracker
*Cheese
I can't tell you how much this has helped him let us know what he wants and cut down on his frustration. Happy Baby Makes Happy Mommy and Daddy!
