The Last Shower

Lately, to save time, I have been showering at night while Hunter gives Noah a bath.  I don’t know why, but I have been thinking about my “last shower” before Noah was born.  The night before we went to the hospital, I took a relaxing, long, hot shower to shave (of course) and to soak up some peace before the storm hit.  I remember thinking “I know our life is going to change”, but of course you don’t understand the extent of the change until it happens.  We had no idea the impact this little boy would have on every aspect of our life.  He has changed our lives for the better in every single way.  Even through the tough times, he has made Hunter and I closer and Noah was the cement that forever bonded us all together.  This Thanksgiving, I am utterly grateful for that little boy and for the joy and the craziness he has brought into our lives.
